pool day

Last week Carson & I went swimming at my Aunt's & he l-o-v-e-d it! I honestly thought he would scream when I put him cause one the water is always a tad cold when you first get in & two we had "tested the waters"  a couple times before & he didn't seem too thrilled about it. But he didn't seem alarmed at all, not even a whimper when he hit the water. We splashed and sang, & he was just laaaauuuggghhhiiiinnnggg. So cute! I swear it still amazes me something so stinkin adorable came from me.

First Tooth!!!

Yep, you heard it people! Mr. Carson finally got his first tooth three days before his 9 month birthday. Yay!! I was seriously starting to wonder if he was ever going to get one. I'm really excited now that we can start trying new more exciting foods that aren't all pureed. 

In other news, we're in the process of remodeling our bathroom! And it is Krazy around here. Everything is everywhere & it's driving me nuts. If I need something that used to be in our bathroom cabinet, I now get to find it in one of three places, in which the item ends up being in the 3rd place, ugh. But hopefully after this weekend....maybe next, everything will be in it's respective place & I won't be stomping around the house like a mad woman when a hair tie is nowhere to be found! 

six months

Last Friday Carson turned six months old...
 Six months?  Really? That's half a year!

He's getting so big & learning so many things, sooooooooooo fast. Definately not my tiny little newborn anymore.

At his check-up today he weighed{drumroll please}...18 lbs 9.5oz, holy moly cannoli, I don't have a baby, I have a moose! He is in the 75th percentile for weight & 50th in height measuring 26.5 inches.

In his Sixth month...

Started to rock on his hand & knees

Then "inch-wormed" himself to presents/bows under the Christmas Tree

Had his 1st Christmas & New Year's

 A week after Christmas he full out crawled for the first time. It was A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Now he is an "all terrain baby" crawling over, under, & through anything he possibly can.

Pulling himself up to his knees on things

Falls asleep while laying in our laps or while we're holding him.

Wears sixth month onesies, 6-9 month pants, & 6 month rompers.

Size 3 diapers & Size 3 shoes

Really started to get down with some solid foods. likes all fruit so far & a few veggies, mostly green beans & squash.

Started sleeping in his crib in his room =)

Ho Ho Ho....Merry Christmas!

Carson had his first visit with Jolly 'ol St. Nick yesterday &  he L-O-V-E-D him. He was such a big boy just sitting on Santa's lap & looking around at everything & as you can see we got a big grin out of him!

I have to admit that I secretly wanted him to totally freak out so we would have a hilarious piece of nostalgia, but just a teeny tiny bit  

Gummin' Away

Carson has been gnawing on his hands & drooling hardcore for a few weeks now. So, he had his first real experience with a teether yesterday, & he loved it! It pretty much went like this...gum gum gum smile, gum gum gum giggle, gum gum gum  "ick" face...then start all over. So presh.
