twenty four

I turn twenty-four today. Yipee {sarcasm, much?}

My family had a little get together for me yesterday & we had potato soup, meatballs, cake & ice cream. Paul bought me the new camera I've been asking for, my parents got me a new Kathy VanZealand purse {love her} & the in-laws gave me some cash, yay! 

Today we've just been lounging around the house in our pj's, ordered food in & have been watching old movies. It's been great! Hope everyone is having a great Sunday. =)  

                                                                                    

six months

Last Friday Carson turned six months old...
 Six months?  Really? That's half a year!

He's getting so big & learning so many things, sooooooooooo fast. Definately not my tiny little newborn anymore.

At his check-up today he weighed{drumroll please}...18 lbs 9.5oz, holy moly cannoli, I don't have a baby, I have a moose! He is in the 75th percentile for weight & 50th in height measuring 26.5 inches.

In his Sixth month...

Started to rock on his hand & knees

Then "inch-wormed" himself to presents/bows under the Christmas Tree

Had his 1st Christmas & New Year's

 A week after Christmas he full out crawled for the first time. It was A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Now he is an "all terrain baby" crawling over, under, & through anything he possibly can.

Pulling himself up to his knees on things

Falls asleep while laying in our laps or while we're holding him.

Wears sixth month onesies, 6-9 month pants, & 6 month rompers.

Size 3 diapers & Size 3 shoes

Really started to get down with some solid foods. likes all fruit so far & a few veggies, mostly green beans & squash.

Started sleeping in his crib in his room =)

Wordless{ish} Wednesday: Mesh Feeders

Carson has been teething for quite awhile now & with him diving into the solid food world recently, we decided to try out mesh feeders.

At first he seemed sorta confused like: "Hey, this is cold!" ,"And it tastes like Nanas (bananas)!"

 But after awhile he was gnawing away and watching his daddy get ready for work. 

He loved it, Mommy loved it, We loved it.

Bringing in the New Year

New Year's Eve '10 will forever be known around here as a crazy, long, wedding day! Yes, all day Friday we were getting ready for my younger cousin's wedding in which Paul & I were both a part of. I'm not gonna lie I've been pretty much dreading this day since we were asked. Mostly because it was going to be longest time I have EVER been away from Carse. The other part because it was a WINTER wedding, with pictures OUTSIDE & we live in OHIO! Uh Duh!

Luckily, we had an usual warm spell the last couple days of December, with a high of 50 degrees & sunny on NYE! Which made for a beautiful day. 

The wedding was beautiful and quick, which is my favorite kind. Victoria, the bride, was stunning. The groom, handsome & nervous looking =). I wasn't able to take very many pictures of the day and we left the reception to bring in the New Year with our best friends. But here are a few pics of the day/night.
